Using narrative from film and music to produce motion graphic

Beatles - Eleanor Rigby Typography Motion
Taking a famous scene from the classic film, Full Metal Jacket, typography is used to illustrate a heated dialogue between a Sergeant and a Soldier in a station bumper for AMC, American Movie Classics.
A typography experiment animated and designed by graphic artist Sebastian Jaramillo (http://www.sebastianjt.com) based on the movie Fight Club on the scene "Chemical Burn".

Why Not Associates Website
http://www.whynotassociates.com/en/index.php
Why Not Associates Website was pointed out by a fellow student. Their work spans many disciplines;
branding
identity
public art
advertising
motion graphics
audio visual installations
short films
web design
interactive design
print
book design
editorial design
packaging
exhibition design
signage
in-store graphics
The Motion graphics and public art (environmental) work especially interested me, given me some good ideas on how to use typography.

Two of the most useful sites
These two sites have been a great source for research, not only for current briefs but also in self development/promotion project
Motionographer
seeks to be a source of inspiration for filmmakers, animators and designers by sharing a great archive of work from studios, freelancers and students
another great source for design work, including motion graphics and TV work relevant to current project
Paper Critters
Not so relevant to current work but a great example of interactive website, the user can design and create their own online paper creature. Can then be uploaded to an online colony or even printed off.
Will have a little play later
